Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake (DF + GF)

Prepare your tastebuds for the ooey gooey delectableness this cake has in store for them. This is such a comfort dessert and yet full of healthy ingredients making it completely dairy free and gluten free. Slice of this with a cup 'o milk and you're in heaven.



Cookie Base:

1/2 Cup Creamy Nut Butter (I used Peanut Butter)

1/3 Cup Oil of Choice (Coconut + Avocado both work)

1/2 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce

2 Eggs

2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

3 Cups Almond Flour (I used Bob's Red Mill)

2/3 Cup Coconut Sugar

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips (I used "Enjoy Life" Dairy Free Mini Chips)

Chocolate Frosting:

1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (I used "Enjoy Life" Dairy Free Mini Chips)

2 Tbsp Nut Milk (I used Almond Milk)

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees + grease baking dish (I love this oil spray)

  2. Mix together nut butter, oil, applesauce, eggs and vanilla extract in a bowl

  3. In a separate bowl, add almond flour, coconut sugar, and baking powder

  4. Mix together dry + wet ingredients and fold in chocolate chips

  5. Pour into baking dish + Bake for 35-45 minutes

  6. Now begin making the chocolate frosting

  7. In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together chocolate chips, nut milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract.

  8. Stir until melted and pour over the baked cookie

  9. Enjoy!
